Who we are
Irocrete is a division of Gestion Iroc inc. (Irocrete), NEQ 1173935272, 14355 rue Rolland-Desjardins, Mirabel, Quebec J7J 0K5. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain and destroy your personal information, in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.
Person in charge of the protection of personal information
For any question, request or complaint about your personal information, write to the Person in charge of the protection of personal information: info@irocrete.com, or by mail at 14355 rue Rolland-Desjardins, Mirabel, Quebec J7J 0K5. You can also submit a request online: irocrete.com/privacy-request.
Information we collect
• Account: first name, last name, email, phone, company, preferred language and password (stored hashed, never in plain text). • Orders and quotes: shipping and billing addresses, products, colours, logos and files you upload, order and message history. • Payments: processed by Stripe or PayPal; we neither receive nor store your card number. • Communications: the emails and requests you send us. • Browsing: cookies essential to the site. With your consent only: audience measurement (Google Analytics and our own visit tracking — pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, referrer, screen resolution and IP address).
Why we use it
• To create and manage your account. • To process your quotes and orders: manufacturing, delivery, invoicing and after-sales service. • To answer your questions and requests. • To keep the site secure and prevent fraud. • To improve the site, if you accept audience measurement. • To send you offers and news, if you have consented; you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. We use your information only for these purposes, for a compatible purpose, or with your consent.
Consent
We collect your information from you, with your consent, for the purposes stated at the time of collection. Audience measurement and promotional emails require express consent, which you give by ticking a box or accepting — never by default. You can withdraw your consent at any time (“Manage cookies” at the bottom of every page, the unsubscribe link, or irocrete.com/privacy-request); some services, such as an order, cannot be provided without the information they require.
Disclosure to third parties and outside Quebec
We do not sell or rent your information. We disclose it only to the providers who help us serve you, as needed: Stripe and PayPal (payments), FedEx and other carriers (delivery: name, address, phone), Microsoft (email), Google (audience measurement, only if you accept it) and our hosting provider (servers and file storage). Some of these providers store or process information outside Quebec — elsewhere in Canada, in the United States or in Europe. Before such a disclosure, we assess whether the information will receive adequate protection, and we govern it by contract. We may also disclose information when required by law.
Retention and destruction
• Account, orders, quotes and exchanges: kept as long as your account exists, to serve you and keep the history of your projects. • If you ask for your account to be deleted: your information is destroyed or anonymized within 30 days, except invoices and accounting records, kept at least 6 years as required by tax laws. • Audience measurement: Google Analytics, no more than 14 months. Our visit tracking (pages viewed, IP address, browser, organization the visit comes from) is kept to measure the site's audience and understand which organizations are interested in it; an account's tracking is tied to that account as long as it exists. • Anonymized statistics — which no longer identify anyone — may be kept without limit.
Security
We protect your information with reasonable measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access restricted to the people who need it for their work, and backups. If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury, we notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the people concerned, and we keep a register of incidents.
Cookies
The site uses essential cookies and, with your consent only, audience measurement cookies. The list, their duration and how to manage your choices are in our Cookie Policy (irocrete.com/cookie-policy).
Your rights
At any time, you may: • access the information we hold about you; • have it corrected if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous; • request its deletion or de-indexing; • withdraw your consent; • obtain a copy in a structured, commonly used technological format (portability). Submit your request at irocrete.com/privacy-request, from your account (“My personal information”) or to info@irocrete.com. We respond no later than 30 days after receipt; we may ask you to confirm your identity. We make no decision based exclusively on automated processing of your information. If our response does not satisfy you, you may contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
Minors
The site and our sales are intended for people 18 or older and for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information about minors; information about a child under 14 may only be collected with the consent of the person having parental authority. If we learn that we have received such information without that consent, we destroy it.
Changes
We may change this policy; the date of the last update appears at the top of the page. If a change is significant, we will notify you on the site or by email.
